Figures indicating types of Elmicaplast® and Elmicaflex® mean the following::

KIFE, KIFE-H, KIFK, KIFE-A – rigid pressed materials consisting of mica paper Elmica® 4 (uncalcined phlogopite) and a binder based on epoxy resins (KIFE, KIFE-A, KIFE-H) and silicon resin (KIFK). KIFE-A is reinforced with a ply of glass cloth.

Elmica® 423, Elmica® 425 – flexible pressed moisture-proof materials consisting of two or more layers of mica paper and a binder based on epoxy-polyester (Elmica® 423) or silicon (Elmica® 425) binder, reinforced with glass cloth and PETF film on both sides.

GIP-2Pl – flexible pressed material based on mica paper and epoxy-polyester binder, reinforced with glass cloth bonded to PETF film at both sides.

G1SK, G2SК, G1SКN – pressed sheet materials based on mica paper, glass cloth and silicon binder.

FSKN-1, FSKN-2 – moulding pressed heat-resistant sheet materials consisting of mica paper and glass cloth impregnated with silicon binder.

Elmicaform® - pressed electrical insulating materials, rigid at room temperature, and able to be moulded at temperature range 80°C - 120°C.

Elmicaform® 323T, 323 Pl consist of mica paper Elmica® 4 (uncalcined phlogopite) impregnated with polyester binder and reinforced with glass cloth (323T) or polyethylene terephthalate film (323 Pl).
Elmicaform® 325T, 325 PM consist of mica paper Elmica® 4 (uncalcined phlogopite) impregnated with silicon binder and reinforced with glass cloth (325T) or polyimide film (325 PM).

Prepregs consist of aramid paper coated on one-side (P-AKN1) or both sides (P-AKN2, P-AN-2) with epoxy resin based binder, and polyester film as a release layer.

P-AKN1 is used in cylinders’ manufacturing applied in constructions of dry fire-safe transformers and insulation systems of H thermal rating class.

P-AKN2 and P-AN-2 are used as interlayer insulation of pole coils in turbogenerators and traction electrical machines of insulation systems of H thermal rating class.
